Glen Manzano, MD, FAANS
Dr. Manzano is a board certified Neurological Surgeon who is fluent in Spanish. He completed his medical degree, Neurosurgical Residency and Complex Spine Fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Manzano is welcomed back after spending nine years at the University of Miami, Department of Neurosurgery where he was a Professor of Clinical Neurosurgery. He focused on surgical treatment of spinal cord injuries and spinal tumors and started the Department of Neurosurgery Spine Tumor Initiative.
Dr. Manzano is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He shares Spine & Brain Neurosurgery Center’s philosophy of maximizing conservative therapy prior to recommending surgical options.
PAIN MANAGEMENT
We offer Epidural Spinal Injection therapies for back pain relief. Spinal injection therapies may help to reduce pain, and/or delay or avoid the need for surgical intervention.
SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY
We offer the latest surgical technologies for the spine and brain. For pain caused by sciatica, disc herniation or degeneration, we offer minimally invasive procedures with less recovery time. Our surgeons are board certified.
MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING
For our patients convenience, we have incorporated Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) into our practice. Our patients can be scanned and seen by their physician on the same day. We utilize our MRI for surgical planning.
