Michael LaFleur, PA-C

In addition to our physicians, the Spine & Brain Center utilizes the expertise and experience of licensed Physician Assistants, allowing us to expedite appointments. A Physician Assistant or “PA” is a healthcare professional that practices medicine as part of a healthcare team with collaborating physicians. They undergo rigorous medical training, must graduate from an accredited PA program and pass a national certification exam. PA’s are trained to diagnose and treat patients. Our PA’s are also trained to assist in all surgical procedures as well as manage all postoperative patients while in the hospital.

Michael LaFleur, PA-C joined Spine & Brain Neurosurgery Center in 2009. Mike earned his Bachelor & Master’s degrees from Nova Southeastern University and has been working in a surgical setting since 1998.

He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. Mike is also a proud Veteran, serving in the United States Army from 1997-2001.
